If you are interested in law, government or politics or just want to see what it’s like to visit the state Capitol Building sign up to attend Iowa TRIO Day 2020. TRIO programs from around the state will be meeting in Des Moines to hear from some state legislators about what they do, tour the capitol, and talk with our local legislators about how great TRIO is. We will also be writing post cards to our US senators and representatives and visit either the Des Moines Art Center or the History Museum!
When: Tuesday, February 11th, 2020
Time: We will meet at the CDE at 7:00am, estimated return to campus around 5:00pm
Transportation and lunch will be provided. We can also provide you with a letter for your instructors if you will be missing any classes that day.
